TELL RANCH…An Overview
Our name is our mantra - Training, Equipping, Leaders for Life.
TELL Ranch, a DIFJ, Inc. Ministry, exists to provide an excellent year round facility that trains people for successful living; that equips them with needed tools & skills to that end; that empowers them to lead where they land throughout the world; and that focuses on their life long success.
This global mission statement is our unifying principle. Everything we do, from cutting grass, to serving food, and to cleaning bathrooms, is focused on providing an environment through which God can draw it’s guests closer to Himself. This will be the culture of TELL from the beginning.
Whether it involves a guest of the Ranch or a staff member thereof, TELL will work to teach everyone to submit to the Lordship of Christ and live an abundant life. These value based life skills serve as a framework upon which a successful life can grow and prosper. TELL will also serve as a cutting edge training center employing technology and techniques to provide effective & efficient educational programs.
The “know how” of successful living must be accompanied with the tools to accomplish that objective. TELL will become known as a “one stop” resource center where these tools can be obtained, accompanied with the proper training and education mentioned above. This training & equipping serves as the primary one-two punch of the organization.
Everyone has the potential to be a leader. They just need the opportunity, the training, and the equipping. In the TELL culture, guests & staff will be nurtured with leadership in mind...to go out into the world and independently lead by example utilizing the tools acquired while at the Ranch.
The key - enduring life long skills. After interfacing with TELL, everyone (staff & guests) will be equipped with life skills and trained how to implement them for the long run.
In order to fulfill our mission, the staff team at TELL focuses on three distinct and unifying objectives:
Our guests could go anywhere to find a room to sleep in and a meal to eat. At TELL Ranch, we provide more than just a room and a meal. We provide an environment that enhances the effectiveness of the experience by:
•Providing a staff dedicated to the mantra of the Ranch and service to it's guests; •Offering unique campus experiences that promote an enriching environment; and •Instilling moral & value based training, equipping, and support.
A Servants Attitude
Exhibiting a positive, servant-like attitude is not a destination; it is a way of life. Someone once said, “A positive Godly attitude removes the rust from the mind, lubricates our inward machinery, and enables us to do our work with fewer creaks and groans.” Our attitudes power the staff, the guests, and the programs that are provided. Serving others is not just what we do, it is who we are.
Cutting Edge Technology
Whether it is training staff USING the latest techniques or ABOUT the latest technology (such as how to harness the wind & the sun to power a village), TELL will LEAD globally by example in all areas.
Removing Barriers of the World
Nothing should stand in the way of our guest’s experience while on the Ranch. Therefore, we seek to remove any barriers to enable our guests to focus on the task (training, equipping, life skills) at hand.
